Lions Camp Merrick is
a project of Lions District 22-C. When started
in 1979, it set out to provide Deaf and Hard of
Hearing children a summer residential program
that was both educational and fun. Over the
years the camp expanded it's program and now
offers services to blind adults, blind children
and diabetic individuals.
The camp goals are to
promote education, creative expression and
social growth in a manner that will enhance self
confidence, social adjustment and self reliance.
Camp activities are designed to accommodate
campers of all age and skill levels.
